We are now pleased to announce the launch of our first, the CEE Real Estate Practice Group, further enhancing our capabilities in the region. The group will be led by Gábor Erdős, a highly regarded legal expert and partner at Erdős Partners (Hungary), with Sorin Aungurenci from Biriș Goran (Romania), serving as Deputy Head.

- Gábor Erdős, ranked by Chambers & Partners, brings vast experience in real estate finance and development, particularly in the office and logistics sector. His expertise includes
- advising on Hungary’s first real estate investment trust (REIT), as well as
- advising a leading logistic real estate developer on the acquisition and development of its logistic centers.
Erdős Partners, works on high-profile transactions in all areas of the real estate sector, resulting in complex experience in the implementation of logistics, industrial, residential, office and commercial real estate projects. Their clients include leading real estate developers, domestic and foreign real estate investors, hotel operators and contractors.
- Sorin Aungurenci, a key figure in Biriș Goran’s Real Estate practice and partner of the firm, is a specialist in all aspects of real estate law, with particular expertise in zoning and regulatory matters, construction law (including FIDIC and other construction agreements), title investigations, and acquisitions. His references include
- acting for large international FMCG producers in major production facilities relocations or expansions, advising them in all cycles of the investment, from due diligence to construction agreement or lease arrangements,
- assisting one of the most active real estate investors in the residential and office segments in Romania on the acquisition of high-end residential and office buildings in Bucharest,
- assisting a major clean energy developer with acquisition, permitting and sale of several photovoltaic projects across Romania.

- representing CRESCO Group, Slovakia´s largest residential developer, in various residential development projects, including acquisitions and joint ventures.
- representing a private equity firm in connection with its joint venture with major Slovak developer for the purchase anddevelopment of a new residential area in Bratislava
HKV Law Firm, is ranked in the Chambers & Partners Global Guide and in the Chambers and Partners Europe Guide for Real Estate law and it maintained its 2nd place ranking in Slovakia for Real Estate Law in the Legal500 Guide, 2024.
- Jakub Zamyslicky from ROWAN LEGAL (Czech Republic), a specialist in real estate and construction law, advising on industrial, office, retail, and residential projects, including legal due diligence, leasing, sales, and project management. His references include
- advising a joint venture of a major public transport company and leading developers in the preparation of a joint real estate project near a metro station in Prague,
- representing a national railway operator in two transactions involving the sale of two brownfield sites near a major railway station and a former freight terminal, as well as
